In August 2012 the Ionion Center for the Arts and Cultures is hosting the Narrative Fiction Workshop designed and taught by Cristos Chryssopoulos following the CAA/AWP teaching standards for Creative Writing.
The Narrative Fiction Workshop (NFW) is organized around 10 teaching modules and 5 educational contexts. It is directed and run by writer Christos Chrissopoulos following the CAA/AWP teaching standards for Creative Writing. The NFW makes no distinction between narrative genres. It offers participants a synthetic overview of the writing process, combining writing practice with theory on the novel, essay, criticism, short-prose and non-fiction writing.
The Ionion Center for the Arts and Culture is located in the village Metaxata of Livatho, on the island of Kefalonia. Its fundamental aims include the protection, creation and promotion of the Art’s and Culture, within the frame of the European Community’s policies, concerning European and Global Culture.
The workshop will be held from 6th August - 15 August 2012
